How to Cook for Healthy Chakras
One of my favorite things of all time is food — I feel like I’m always talking about food, meals, recipes or cooking. Growing up, we used to poke fun at my Grandpa for planning the next meal before we had even gotten up from the table; yet, as an adult I find myself doing the exact same thing.
For as much as I like food, food doesn’t always like me. I grew up with allergies and food sensitivities galore, even sending me to the hospital in anaphylactic shock a couple times while we were still figuring out all my allergens. As much as I used to resent my allergies, I can now see that it helped to nurture my love of cooking and healthy eating.
Over time I’ve had to educate myself as my sensitivities have progressed, in order to properly read labels and prepare combinations of food that work best together, not only for taste, but for optimal health and digestion. One of the best discoveries I made while learning about food is that certain items work to support certain chakras!
Different foods carry different energies to support different places in our bodies. I mean we talk about it all the time with phrases like "heart-healthy greens", but I had never really considered how the foods we eat support our energy bodies as well!
