The New Moon is the beginning of the lunar cycle. In ancient times, the 28-day lunar cycle was the predominant calendar, with that tradition still occurring today with some lunisolar calendars. This period when the moon is darkened is a beautiful time to set your intentions and manifestations, "planting your seeds for the future". The wonderful thing about the New Moon is that every 28 days we have a new opportunity to work with this powerful energy. Working with the energy of the New Moon can look different in every season. I've elaborated on a few of my favorite ways to work with this energy.

As Empaths, we discuss clearing our energy regularly, but that clearing needs to extend past our energy body into our most frequented spaces. For example, have you ever thought to clear the energy in and around your vehicle? Cars are an essential part of most people's daily routines and unfortunately, one of our most forgotten energetic spaces. While things like beautiful scenes, good music and singing loudly in the car all help to raise your vibration, your time in cars encompasses a variety of energetically charged situations. Clutter causes chaotic energy, and for those who resonate as empaths, we should be doing everything within our power to manage our energy. Most people are not consciously aware of how much clutter affects their energy, but it can cause stress, anxiety, and tension within relationships. Discussions about cleaning, chores, and the chaos of clutter are some of the most common arguments within household relationships. We lose time and patience when we have to search for items instead of immediately finding the object where it's supposed to be. Nothing good ever comes from clutter. Welcome to Spring! A time for new growth and renewal! People often associate spring with cleaning or shedding what is no longer helpful in this season. If you resonate as an Empath, you already know that you are highly sensitive to people's energy, but did you realize that you're also sensitive to objects and things like clutter? I am coming to you as a reformed messy, and cluttered person. As a kid, it made my parents crazy that my room was unkempt. Once I got to my first college dorm, it was a permanent disaster zone--clothes strewn everywhere, constantly junk all over my desk, garbage cans overflowing, the works. No wonder I hardly got any studying done while I was there! |
