As Empaths, we discuss clearing our energy regularly, but that clearing needs to extend past our energy body into our most frequented spaces. For example, have you ever thought to clear the energy in and around your vehicle? Cars are an essential part of most people's daily routines and unfortunately, one of our most forgotten energetic spaces. While things like beautiful scenes, good music and singing loudly in the car all help to raise your vibration, your time in cars encompasses a variety of energetically charged situations.
Used & Shared CarsAlmost everyone at some point in their driving experience has driven a used car. Whether its a hand me down from an older relative or family member, or purchased vehicle, there is an energy imprint from the previous driver(s). This is also often experienced in vehicles that are shared among family members, along with rental cars, and shared work vehicles. The shared energy can feel chaotic and distracting if not cleared. Working from the CarCars have become more than just a method of transportation, with many people using them to work jobs from their vehicles. Whether providing in-home services, delivery of goods, or transportation services, cars are more important than ever. If you see clients in their home and you use your car as a mobile office, you're likely providing somewhat intimate services where your energy is connecting with theirs. If you're transporting people in your vehicle (Uber, Lyft, etc.), you're exposed to new energy every time someone gets into your car. If you're the type of driver to get into conversation with your passenger, your energy is likely co-mingling. If you're delivering goods to people, your clients are likely watching your energy via the map on the app, possibly trying to tap into your energy to see what the "delay" is. Therefore, it's essential to energetically cleanse your vehicle and detach your energy every time someone, or something gets out of your car. Safe SpaceMany people use their cars as a refuge and to release their feelings. It's a safe and semi-private place to express complex emotions. People tend to sit in their car during the workday to get a break from their workplace. Furthermore, it is a great place to cool down after a difficult day at work before going home and walking into a fresh, new environment. I can't tell you how many times I've sat in my car, cried, screamed, and yelled until I've lost my voice. My car has seen me through the past 13 years of loud and maturing emotions. Hard ConversationsEmotionally charged conversations tend to occur in cars, where some people find it easier to talk to others, as you're not facing the other person but sitting next to them. Thanks to technology like cell phones and speakers, conversations can also happen on the phone while driving or sitting in the car. Many people take calls in their car since it's an enclosed and private space that they may not have elsewhere. ChildrenAre you a parent, grandparent, or drive kids around in your car? Kids are full of energy, and picking them up from school and activities can feel like a hurricane when they get into the car. Kids also have enormous energy, and most of the time, they are not aware of how to control it yet so they are prone to meltdowns and large emotional outbursts. Intuitive MessagesMany intuitives receive messages while they're driving in the car. I have received several messages from listening to music, looking at street signs, and the occasional epiphany in a quiet moment. When you're focused on completing tasks such as driving, it is quite common to have intuitive messages dropped in. This is the same reason that many people get messages while in the shower, or exercising, the mind is focused on the task at hand. If the energy in your vehicle is heavy or dense, it can make receiving or understanding the messages harder. Hexes & CursesPonder this if you will; have you ever been cut off in traffic? Had someone swerve a little too close for comfort? Expressed your anger and frustration by swearing and cursing at the other vehicle? Well, most curses and hexes occur with intention only, so every time you yell, or loudly express your dislike for the people causing the traffic conditions around you, you're likely cursing them. Consider the opposite of this situation, have you ever been the one to accidentally cut someone off, or do something to ignite the anger of another driver? Nah, me either (just kidding!), but in case you have, you may want to think about clearing the energy surrounding your car. Remember, vehicles are small and enclosed spaces, so it's crucial to keep them free of physical and energetic clutter! Minding the energy of this compact space makes being in the car more enjoyable, especially if you're in your vehicle for an extended period. Are you inspired to cleanse your vehicle? I'd love to know how it turns out and how different the energy feels afterwards! Love, Arielle Sterling
