As we start moving further up the chakra system, the use of food as a balancing agent becomes less prevalent. Though the throat chakra is the first of the spiritual chakras (throat, third eye and crown) and responds very well to proper hydration.
Coincidentally, there are very few naturally blue foods, mainly because blue tends to be toxic to humans when consumed. This chakra however can be balanced with clean water and other nutrient-rich liquids.
Foods that fall off the tree when they are ripe and ready and requiring little to no work in order to be enjoyed are also said to balance this chakra. These fruits include apples, pears, peaches, apricots, and plums.
