Have you heard the phrase "raise your vibration"? Do you know what it means? Do you know how to do it? Let's take a deeper dive into this trendy phrase. When you see lists of what you can do to raise your vibration, it may seem like things you can do to make you happy or feel less depressed on a surface level, but it's more profound than that. When people talk about raising their vibration, they're talking about positive things that they can do to promote overall well-being for themselves, their family, friends, and their community as a whole. But unfortunately, the phrase has nearly become synonymous with the idea of getting out of a bad mood. Universal LawsThe phrase itself stems from the 12 Universal Laws or the inherent laws of physics that we know to govern the universe. While the exact origins of the 12 Laws are unknown, you may be familiar with many of them, including the ever-popular Law of Attraction. Today, we are discussing the second law or the law of vibration. This law states that everything that exists is in constant motion and is vibrating at a specific frequency. The expression indicates the desire to transcend and shift into a higher vibration, frequency, or simply put, state of mind. What and Why?Raising your vibration is a unique internal process that brings you closer to the most authentic version of yourself. The approach to raising your vibration is not just a one-time event but the consistent practice of coming back to your true self. These activities function best integrated into a consistent daily routine. Raising your vibration will often lead to deeper spiritual awareness, increased emotional intelligence, and enhanced connection to the energies around you.
Things that lower your vibration:
Discomfort ≠ Low VibrationThere is often confusion over what things are considered lowered vibration, but in reality, they are some of the most beautiful parts of our humanity. Just because something is uncomfortable doesn't mean it's "low vibration." Part of the human experience is the wide range of emotions, good and bad. To appreciate the depth of the emotional scale, we must experience both ends. Anger: Anger is one of the most powerful tools of transformation. Sadness: This shows us where our desires lay. Grief: Grief shows us the extent to which we have loved. Don't Assume It's Low VibeAnd finally, there are things that people may automatically assume may lower their vibration; however, when done with proper intention, they may have a positive vibrational impact. Unfortunately, many people abuse these tools and are not using them for spiritual enlightenment. Alcohol: Many cultures use alcohol as a medium to get into a zone to honor and communicate with loved ones who have crossed over. Smoking: Burning leaves and plants for ritual purposes is old as time itself. Smoking or inhaling them is often part of the process. Psychedelics: When respected, psychedelic plant medicine is a time-honored tradition to connect with guides of different dimensions. What are some things that you do to raise your vibration?
