Thank you so much to everyone who joined us live for May's event, The Empath's Toolbox! We had a great time discussing what it means to be an empath, the concept of being proactive versus reactive, and talking about tools and techniques that work best as an empath.
One of the most important topics that we covered is to know yourself, your needs and your triggers. Once you're able to identify and understand yourself on a deeper level, you can take better care of yourself on a routine basis. Knowing how you recharge (at home alone or out with people) is one of the most vital lessons an empath needs to learn so that they can fill themselves back up. It is also important to maintain strong boundaries of what feels good and what does not feel good with certain people, places or situations.
Some of the techniques that we discussed were from the toolbox of my first book, Shift Happens, in addition to techniques like breathing exercises, shifting focus and visualizing a blue bubble around you to strengthen your own energy field.
