What it means to me to be a Lightworker

I was just having this conversation and I was guided to share some of the contents with you. 

I believe that as a "lightworker" it is our job to shine the light, illuminating the path, much as a lighthouse does.

It's not all love and light like some people may think.  

Don't be afraid to share your heart or talk about things because you are worried of how they may be interpreted or perceived by the others around you.

Be true to you. Shine your light. 

If people around you are upset by what you say, it's because you've shifted something within them.
You've shined a light on something within them that doesn't feel quite right.

Now they have the opportunity to take a look within themselves, do some soul searching and figure out why it upset them, or why they're bothered by it. (Or not, that's their choice, too.)

How people choose to act (and react) is a reflection on them, their beliefs and their perceptions of this world.

Don't even for a second think about being less YOU to try and please the others around you. You're doing a disservice to you and everyone else around you.

There is so much more to being a lightworker than is on the surface, my friends.

It may not be easy, but nothing worth it ever is.
