Why Empaths Are Like the Most Colorful Box of Crayons

Today I'm going to share with you how my guides have explained the concept of Empaths to me.

Emotions and feelings are like crayons. Red, blue and green are your pretty typical, run-of-the-mill crayon combination - it does the trick and it can create basic, simple works of art. 

The basic 8 pack of crayons has enough colors to draw the whole rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black and brown. This picture is likely going to be much more vibrant and colorful. Anything can be created with those standard colors. 

Then of course there's the assorted packs of 16, 24, 36, 64 all the way to gigantic pack of 96. The more colors, the more detailed the image can become.

But once you get to that huge pack of 96 with the sharpener on it (you know the one I'm talking about!) the possibilities are endless!! The depth and opportunity for this art is far more detailed and intricate than it's previous counterparts. 

I believe as empaths we are the ones working with more than 8 crayon colors. We came into the world with at least a 16-pack of crayons. Our world is brightly colored and vastly different than others. Our depth of feeling, sensation and emotion is unexplainable, even unimaginable to those who are only working with those 8 basic colors. 

Keep in mind, a couple things:

• No matter how many crayons (empathic tendencies) we come in with, if we work at improving ourselves, we can get an upgrade! 
• You can only make beautiful works of art if you draw, simply having the tools does you no good if you don't use them!
• Crayons can always be resharpened when dulled!
